I'm all for clearing off the debt. But being debt free is meaningless if you don't have a way of generating income. Debt will just accumulate again. If the deal goes through, we have to have some way of getting a portion of the revenue it generates. Or, income from elsewhere ... which goes back to the problem of a vision for the future.
