I've really felt the difference between calling in to a conference and most of the group is in the room, vs. being in the room. I don't feel as confident in the communication process when I can't see the dynamics of the room. The other tradeoff is the social scene in general. The bonding of a team can do so much for team work. Everything in life is a trade-off.
