I’ve no idea how I came across the following links … Well, actually I do. I was looking for a post on Scobleizer (the one about ugly design). I found it, and also a follow up to it which led me to Identity Production in a Networked Culture: Why Youth Heart MySpace which in turn led me to apophenia (danah’s blog). And that led me to:
Well, I thought it was worth a look.
If I weren’t so tired and rushed right now, I would explain what my Internet travels were about (design, social networks and so on). (I both agree and disagree with the idea that ugly sites work. They do, but it’s not because they are ugly, it has more to do with function, familiarity and content.)
