Getting there – I’ve found a theme

by Bill Wren on January 21, 2006

Other than the image changes, I’ve gone with Conestoga Street (Theron Parlin). I’ll probably make some other changes, particularly to the sidebar, once I figure out what I’m doing here.

It took a while tracking down a theme – there are a lot out there. Some I would have used but I simply don’t know enough about code etc. to make the kinds of changes to them I would have wanted. I know just enough to get myself in trouble.

I’m using this theme because it incorporates things I most like – simplicity and a lot of white for optimum contrast. Of course, it also uses my colour – blue.

And all this is fine but the real challenge now is what it has always been – content. I need to start tapping out thoughts on writing rather than burblings about my changes.
